Thank you for visiting our Stetson Elementary School website. Stetson Elementary School is one of five elementary schools in RSU #64.   Stetson Elementary School is a Kindergarten, First and Second grade school and the only community school in the district.  The school currently serves 46 students.

The talented and dedicated staff uses the Workshop Model to deliver reading, writing, and mathematical instruction.  Each instructional area receives 90 minutes of whole group, small group, and individual instruction with activities based on the curriculum.  Great concern is taken for the learning of every student and a wide range of support is provided for students in need.  Students can receive Title One services, Reading Recovery, and Speech/Language services if necessary.   Students at Stetson Elementary School participate in Physical Education classes, Music classes, and Library on a weekly basis.

Parent involvement is an important part of Stetson Elementary School.  The teachers communicate often with parents through homework sheets, phone calls and notes.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer at the school and to become a member of the PTF.  The PTF provides our students with enriching educational programs and presentations.

Stetson Elementary School is honored to have the support of the students, staff, parents, and community members in making our school a true community of learners.
