Message From the Principal

Central High School is a Class C school with an average enrollment gs of 380.  Administrators, faculty, parents, and students work together to raise aspirations, enhance educational programing, and prepare each student to be a well informed and involved citizen.  Central has a strong advisory program that has educational, social, and civic components and provides an opportunity for each student to have an adult advocate in the building.

Central High School is a comprehensive secondary institution that offers eight advanced/ AP courses, four years of two foreign languages, sixteen vocational opportunities just to mention a few.  Our goal is to encourage academic excellence by providing each student the opportunity to realize his or her potential. 

A rigorous, diversified curriculum is offered to students of all ability levels by an experienced, talented faculty that differentiates instruction and seeks to instill in each student a love for learning and a desire to continue their education beyond high school. 

Extra-curricular offerings afford each student opportunities to actively explore and dcevelop individual strengths, interests and talents in a wide range of areas.  All students are strongly encouraged to participate in activities of personal choice and every effort is made at creative scheduling to afford students the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities.

Central High School students have a history of being hard working and take pride in their accomplishments.  As a school community, we take great pride in their noteworthy accomplishments and look forward to every year to their continued growth and development.
