Bradford Elementary School
Message From the Principal
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Bradford Elementary School webpage. The Bradford School is a kindergarten through grade 2 school that serves approximately 100 students. Our school is fortunate to have a dedicated and talented staff, who skillfully work to address the educational needs of our students. Teaching staff provide the best teaching practices and differentiated instruction to ensure that every student meets the learning standards. Our literacy curriculum uses a reader’s, writer’s and mathematics workshop approach. This is supported by services such as Reading Recovery, literacy follow-up in reading and math, and Title 1.
Bradford has 6 regular classrooms, a speech language program, and an all-purpose room that weekly ouses library, physical education and music.
The staff at Bradford Elementary School is committed to working together to make children’s first years of formal education a successful experience. Our faculty welcomes parent input and encourages close communication between home and school. We have a very active parent group that we share with our neighbor school, Hudson Elementary. This group meets often. The group organizes 2 major fundraisers a year. Money from these fundraisers provide supplemental educational opportunities for our school.
