Announcements 2/9/22

– B cheer will practice 3-4:30

 

– A cheer will practice 430-630

 

– Academic assistance will be held after school, sign ups are at the office window

 

– Art club group 1 will meet after school.

 

– Attention students interested in being a part of the spring One-Act play: Big Bad- --Auditions will be held on Tuesday 2/15 and Wednesday 2/16 from 2:50-4pm if needed.  Come read for a part! Please email Ms. Peterson and sign up in the front office so she knows who and what to expect each day.

 

– Friday will be support your team day.  Dress in your favorite team attire. 

 

– Monday will be red, white and pink day. 

 

– Students please bring your laptops to school charged and ready for the day.

 

– Please do not put chewed gum on the lunch trays, throw it away in the trash.

 

February is the last month to order your yearbook!  The yearbook is $20 and includes free name personalization and icons printed on the front.  You can order online or pick up an order form from Mrs. Bickerstaff.  

 

– Intramural sign ups are at the office window. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be volleyball.  Wednesday will be an alternative activity, outside weather permitting.  Please sign up during lunch. Permission slips must be turned in to the office by this Friday.  Team drafts for volleyball will be held next Wednesday, Captains only.  New schedules can be picked up in the office. 

 

-- We have many items in our lost and found located in the lobby, please stop to see if any of the items belong to you or someone you may know.

 

– We currently do not have any cups available for use at the water fountains.  Please bring in a water bottle to use throughout the day. 

 

– FOR Club and Student Council are sponsoring a food drive.  They are collecting canned vegetables, beans and boxed pasta, no ramen please.  Each homeroom will have a collection box.  Please bring in as much as possible to help those in need. The food drive will end on February 18th. 

 

– We will be having a Community School district raffle to benefit a fellow CHS student. It ends the 13th of February and the drawing will be on Valentines Day. The prize for the raffle is a homemade quilt that was donated.  The students and their families in RSU 64 are invited to participate as a community on the behalf of this fellow student and family and win a homemade quilt. Tickets will go for: 1 ticket for 5$, 3 tickets for 10$, 5 tickets for 20$. Show your RSU 64 community support by helping a student and their family in our district. Good luck to all. More info is displayed on a poster by the main entrance to our school. Please see Mrs. Ireland or Mrs. Buswell for tickets.
