CHS Announcements

April 3, 2023

Today is a White Day.

Would all students in Intro to Film please turn in their Film Journals into Ms. J-S by the end of the day today.

The CHS Key Club would like to thank everyone who helped support Camp Sunshine through our fundraisers this year. Thanks to your help, we were able to present a check for $2,000 at this weekend's District Educational Conference. Only one other school in the entire New England district raised more for Camp Sunshine that we did. Thanks, Red Devils!

Also at this weekend's conference, Ethan Whitty received the Key Club President of The Year Award! Out of over 150 clubs from 6 states in the district, only three presidents were recognized for this honor. Congrats Ethan, and thanks for all of your hard work for our club!

Mrs. Blanchard from the Guidance Office is excited to launch My Pathway Guide: Planning Today for Future Success for Grades 9 - 11 on Thursday, April 6 from 2:30 - 4:15.  Come learn more about college and career exploration with Big Futures and how Early College opportunities may help excel your academic career during and after high school. A light refreshment will be served.  Please sign-up in the Guidance Office.

Seniors:  Sign up sheets for class parts are hanging outside the office.  Sign up before April 5th.

Baseball and softball players can purchase socks in the main office for $6.00.  Also, baseball players can purchase their hats for $25.00.

Last chance to guarantee yourself a yearbook!  The online portal at jostens.com is open again to order online, or you can get an order form from the window of the main office.  All payments should go to Mrs. Rollins.

The National Honor Society will host a blood drive in the gym on Thursday, April 6. Anyone interested in donating blood may sign up during all three lunches over the next two weeks.

There will be a meeting of the Student Council tomorrow, April 4, at 7:30 am in C3.

Have a great day.
