Today is a White Day.

The Bubble Room will be in C2 today with Mr. Pomeroy.

Atkins Memorial Library in Corinth is looking for a couple of volunteers this Saturday. If you're interested

in earning up to 4 hours of community service, please see Ms. Twist for details ASAP

Attention seniors who plan on attending the University of Maine and majoring in engineering: The Pulp &

Paper Foundation scholarship is now open and you can apply online.

Drama Club students are reminded to bring in their permission slip to attend the play at Penobscot

theatre - there are still some seats available.

The Drama Club will meet in the gym on Thursday from 3:00-3:45. Play practice will be after that until

4:30.

Pre-Sale Tickets for the Homecoming dance are on sale this week in the office, 2 for $10. General

admission at the door is $10 per person. So don't miss out on this 50% deal!!! Pre-Sale ends Friday at

2:30. The dance is from 6 - 9 PM.

Attention seniors: You will be receiving passes to come for your senior meeting in the guidance office. It

is important that you attend your meeting to get the necessary paperwork for college applications and

discuss future plans. Some seniors may need to come to their meeting and then have early release if it

is scheduled during period 4.

Signup for the PSAT is in the guidance office this week. This exam is open to any sophomore or junior

and costs $20, there are 20 slots available. The PSAT is a test that prepares students for the SAT and if

your score is high enough you may qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

CHS Robotics Club will meet in room B5 Thursday 18th starting at 2:45. New members are always

welcome, stop by and check us out.

Juniors and seniors are reminded to turn in the blue Military form to the guidance office. If we do not

have your signed form we are required by law to release your information to any recruiter who requests it.

They are due by Friday, September 19th.

CHS Chess Club will meet in room B5 today starting at 3. New members are alway welcome, stop by

even if you have never played chess before, we will teach you.

Any student who would like to bring a guest to the dance, must sign them up in the main office by

Thursday.

The ballot for Homecoming King and Queen has been sent to students by email.

The Dress-Up Days for Homecoming Spirit Week will be as follows:

● Thursday, September 18: Hero v Villan

● Friday, September 19: Class Colors
