CHS announcements

Today is a Red Day.

There is no play practice today. Starting tomorrow all onstage cast members are expected to be

at practices according to the schedule. We will develop the February break practice schedule

this week.

There will be a meeting of the student council on Tuesday, February 10, at 7:30 am, in C3.

Winter Ball tickets go on sale today during lunch and will be sold all week at lunch. The pre-sale

ends Friday at 12:55 PM (end of C Lunch). Tickets at the door are $10 per person. Winter Ball

is open to all grades and will be held at Central High School from 7:00–10:00 PM.

Please sign up any guests for the dance in the office by noon on Thursday.

The Dress-Up Days for Winter Carnival will be as follows:

Tuesday, February 10 - Comfy Day

Wednesday, February 11 - Soccer Mom v. Barbeque Dad

Thursday, February 12 - Tropical Day

Friday, February 13 - Class Colors (Fr-Yellow; So-Green; Jr-Blue; Sr-Red)

Congratulations to the track teams on their outstanding performances in the PVC

Championships.

Boys were fifth overall and girls were one point out of the runner up spot in a very close meet.

Jazmin Channon -(Dex) - Broke three school records - 3rd in 55 meter , won the long jump and

was on the winning 4 x 200 team.

Anna Miles was 3rd in the 400 meter and was on the winning 4x200 team.

Natalie Speed won the pole vault - Cassidy Drew was third.

Asani Miller was on the winning 4x200 team and took 5th in the 200 and 55 meter.

Connor Ladd took third in triple jump and broke the school record.

Brady Jerome, Jatden LePage, Garrett Wheeler., Aaron Dyer and Josh Reardon went 1, 2, 3, 4

and 6 in the shot put.

Grace Menario won the 4x200, was second in the high jump and 4th in the 200 - She also won

the Anne Norton League Sportsmanship Award, given to the one girl in the league that displays

the most sportsmanship over the season.

Congratulations to Coach Viani who was named 2026 Girls EMITL Coach of the Year.
