CHS Chess Club will meet today in Room B5 starting at 3pm.
The CHS Robotics Club had its last meet last week at John Bapst High School. The team
finished the preliminary round as 10th overall out of 40 teams, the best finish they have had all
season. This demonstrates the improvement the team has had over the course of this year's
robotics season. The team also won the first match in the knockout round of 16, but lost in the
second round. Again a vast improvement from the earlier meets. And finally the team was
awarded a trophy for receiving the Judges Award. This award is given for a variety of reasons,
from sportsmanship, design work and overall improvement .Congratulations to Aaron Dyer,
Matthew Moon, Violet Annis and Ronald Cronkite.
Have a great day!
