Today is a White Day.
CHS is a Kahoot! That's right! During Advisory today we will be playing Kahoot and still need players for
Grades 10, 11 & 12. See Mrs. Blanchard to sign-up. Come join the fun!
Attention all students in the festival play: go to advisory after period 2 for attendance. Then take
your backpacks to your lockers, get your coats and any costume pieces you may need and go to
the cafeteria. Wait quietly outside the cafeteria.
It's competition time! Central High School Drama Club will present its entry of "How High Is Up"
in the MPA Drama Festival tomorrow at Lawrence High School at 3:30 p.m. Adults are $12 and
students are $6.50.
Prom tickets will be on sale starting Monday March 9th through March 27th. Tickets can be
purchased in the office from Mrs. Rollins before school, at lunch and after school. The cost is
$35.00 per person.
A sign up is located at the office window for senior students that would be interested in giving an
honor speech at graduation.
There will be a meeting of the National Honor Society on Tuesday, March 10, at 7:30 am in C3.
Attention seniors: the local scholarship booklet is available to sign out in the guidance
office.These are scholarships for only Central seniors. If you are planning on attending college
next year, be sure to get one so you can complete it before the deadline of March 12th.
Try-outs for the Spring Variety Show sponsored by the Sophomore Class are after school on
Tuesday, March 10 or Wednesday, March 11. Sign up on the paper sheet outside the office, or
on the Google Form shared by Ms. Young. It's in the name of our show: we are looking for a
variety of talents! If you have any questions, reach out to Ms. Young, McKenna, Arlow, or Alex.
All CHS students and staff are cordially invited to attend the mayhem that is the annual
basketball game, pitting the members of the Cheerleading Team against the members of the
Indoor Track and Field Team. The hysterical event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, at 6:00
pm in the gym. Admission will be $3.00.
The spring sports parent meeting will be next Tuesday, March 10th at 5:00 in the gym.
The open gym will run from March 9th until March 20th. The schedule is posted outside the
office on the athletic information board.
