Today is a Red Day.
Recently, a family in our district lost their home in a fire. In response, the Student Council has
introduced the Penny Wars Fundraiser. Outside the Main Office are four tubs - one for each
class. To earn points, place pennies in the tub for your class. At the same time, you can
sabotage the other classes by placing silver coins and dollar bills in the tubs for the other
classes. For example: a nickel would be negative five points, a dime is negative 10 points, a
quarter is negative 25 points and a dollar is negative 100 points. The current standings are:
Freshman in fourth with -3,065 points; Sophomores in third with -3,040 points, Juniors in second
with -3,035 points, and Seniors in first with -17 points. All proceeds will be donated to the family
who lost their home. Please help out.
Attention students: Starting on April 13th, you will be required to put your cell phone in the
classroom of your last period class. This is mandatory and will be done at the first morning bell.
Please prepare yourself for this change.
The CHS Robotics Club will meet on Thursday, April 2nd at 2:30 pm in room B5 all current
members must attend this meeting.
