Today is a Red Day.

All 1st day paperwork is due by Wednesday.  Please turn it in to your advisor by then to avoid an administrative detention. 

Attention juniors:  sign up in the guidance office by Wednesday if you are interested in taking the PSAT test.  It will cost $18 to take the test unless you are a member of Talent Search or Upward Bound.  Be sure to come in and sign up by Wednesday as we have to order the tests.

If you are interested in being a part of the Civil Rights Team please sign up in B6.

All CHS students and staff are cordially invited to attend the annual Homecoming Breakfast from 7:00 - 9:00 am, on Saturday, September 17 at the CMS Cafeteria. Admission will be $5.00. 

Attention Sophomores.. There's a sign up sheet in the library if you want to ride on our class float in the parade at homecoming. Only the first 25 people to sign up will be able to go on the trailer so make sure you sign up fast!

Attention seniors:   Information on the UMaine Pulp and Paper Scholarship for students entering the University of Maine for engineering is available in the guidance office.

The Dress-Up Days for Spirit Week will be as follows:

Tuesday, September 13 - Favorite CHS Staff Member

Wednesday, September 14 - BBQ Dad vs. Soccer Mom (Dress up as either one)

Thursday, September 15 - Super Hero Day

Friday, September 16 - Class Colors

Freshman = Yellow,  Sophomore = Green, Juniors = Blue, Seniors = Red

 

Key Club will host a coin war today through midday on the 16th. Pennies will count as positive points for your class and silver coins/dollars will be negative. The goal is to collect as many pennies as possible in YOUR bucket and sabotage other classes' buckets with silver and dollars. All money collected will be donated to Camp Sunshine.

 

There will be a homecoming street dance next Friday the 16th from 6pm to 9pm. Admission will be $5.00.  All guests must be signed up in the main office.

  

The Booster’s Club is excited to be bringing back the Color Burst Run/Walk for Homecoming!!! Everyone is encouraged to join in on the fun!! The registration fee for the Color Burst Run/Walk is $25 if you register by September 9th. Registration fee after September 9th is $30. Registration forms are available on the Booster’s Facebook page or in the concession stand. Don’t miss out on all the fun!!
