Mr Dan Furlong is the advisor for our National Honor Society Chapter. All juniors and seniors who have attended CHS for at least one semester and who have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 88 or above are invited to complete an application and submit supporting materials for NHS membership before a firm deadline which is advertised via daily announcements at school. A five-member CHS Faculty Council reviews applications and makes recommendations for student induction based upon a student's evidence of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS does service projects and sponsors school activities as well through the year. For more information contact Mr. Furlong.
