Instead, about a week into May and again a week into June, Hannaford will email you a unique code reflecting the total School Dollars you earned in the previous month. We had an opportunity to practice both our evacuation and lockdown drills today. Students and staff did a great job with the evacuation drill. Our lockdown drill revealed areas for improvement though. Several of our sixth graders were in the bathroom when the drill was called and they were unsure about what they should do. This created a perfect learning opportunity. The teachers talked with students afterward and identified situations when students might need to seek safety in an area other than the classroom. We will continue to practice our situational awareness and emergency response protocols.

-CHS Robotics Club invites any 8th grader interested in the Robotics club to come to their next meeting at CHS on April 30th from 2:35-4:30.
-The 2026 Hannaford Helps Schools program has begun and will run through May 30. You can support CMS by shopping for specially marked items. At checkout you will receive school dollars if you purchased qualifying items. Each School Dollar printout also includes a QR code linking directly to the website, making it quick and easy to redeem school dollars. In 2025 $330 was raised for student activities at CMS!
