Students of the Quarter

Congratulations to these amazing students.  From left to right, here are the descriptions of what makes them such exceptional students:

Olivia Roberts, sophomore SOQ- Olivia consistently surpasses classroom expectations through both her conduct and quality of work. She is a reliable force in encouraging peers to use materials responsibly and take responsibility for clean-up and materials. Olivia actively participates in supply distribution and oversees the end-of-class routine, ensuring a tidy sink area and washed brushes. Her impactful contributions extend to reducing wastefulness of supplies and streamlining the clean-up process. Additionally, Olivia is a supportive peer, offering positive feedback and encouragement when needed. Her overall dedication to both the learning environment and her classmates makes her a standout contributor in our classroom community.

 Novie Ivey, UTC Natural Resources and Outdoor Rec SOQ - Novie always goes above and beyond both academically and with hands-on lab work.  She takes students under her wing and shares her expertise with them. - Mr. Beswick

Dalia Rivera, senior SOQ - Dalia has consistently and quietly proven to be a very capable academic achiever (frequently on the Honor Roll); sh is a dedicated three season athlete (Cross Country, Indoor and Spring Track); and she is a regular on the Tech Crew of our award winning Drama Club. In addition, Dalia is a recent inductee of our National Honor Society. She models respect to her peers and gives it to her teachers and staff. She is a pleasure to be around.

Chloe Williams, freshman SOQ - Chloe is a sweet young woman. She is a dedicated student, always giving her best. She supports her peers and is a positive role model for them.

 Kylie Withee, UTC Culinary Arts SOQ - She has an excellent attitude every day no matter the task.  She has gone above and beyond with our board dinner, advisory dinner and is on the list  for the curricular class.  She has a great work ethic and is fun to be around. - Chef Jellison;  She's up for anything, and works relentlessly in the kitchen.  She never complains about her tasks for the day and even jumped into a speaking role during a tour session we had." - Chef Flewelling

Kaitlyn McCorrisson, junior SOQ - Kaitlyn is a delight to have in our building. Smart, athletic, and always with an ever-present smile, she is an encouragement to her peers and to staff. She is also the reigning Homecoming Queen. Day after day she lights up the halls with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Jakson Pollock, UTC Medical Assisting SOQ - Jakson has exhibited an exemplary work ethic and has made remarkable progress within the curriculum and skills.  His commitment enthusiasm, and ability to overcome obstacles make him a deserving candidate for this recognition, showcasing the true spirit of resilience and dedication in our classroom to the medical field.  - Ms. Farris
