Announcements 9/1/2021 Boys soccer tryouts will be held today after school until 4:30. Girls soccer practice will be held until 4:30 today. Field hockey practice will be today after school until 4:30, there is still time to sign up. Cross country will practice today until 4:30. Golf will be after school today at Whitetail, and your ride will need to be there at 5pm. You will not be able to tryout or attend practice until all health paperwork has been turned in to the office. Please bring first day paperwork in as soon as possible. * Auditions for the fall One-Act play will be held after school next Wednesday (9/8) and next Thursday (9/9)- come give acting a try. If your child has never ridden the ACTIVITY BUS, please read this information carefully. There are TWO buses. One bus goes down Rt 15 to Kenduskeag Village. It then goes to Stetson Village. It will stop at Sam's Quik Stop in Kenduskeag (4:45) and Brat's in Stetson (5:00) or at any home along that route (if they know in advance). If you live in one of these towns but not along the route, please plan to meet your child at one of the two main stops. The bus will not wait for rides, so be prompt! The second bus will travel Rt 43 to Hudson. It will turn around at Roger's Market and travel on Rt 221 to Bradford General Store. It will stop at Roger's Market (4:45) and Bradford General (5:00) to let students off. If you live along the route, students should let the driver know when they get on the bus so the driver can look for the correct address. The first time riding the activity bus can feel chaotic. If you have any questions about the bus route or times, call Cormier's well in advance! 285-3416 Coaches will assist students on the first day. Remember, we didn't have an activity bus last year, so please be patient as all students learn the ropes.

Due to thunderstorms in the forecast, afterschool practices are cancelled for today (Monday, Aug 30). All teams will practice tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug 31). More information about parent meetings will be forthcoming. If your student didn't have paperwork in today, you have another day to get it in. Activity buses will run tomorrow at 4:30. Golfers must be picked up at White Tail.

Sports tryouts/practices start tomorrow (Aug 30) after school. THERE ARE NO ACTIVITY BUSES ON MONDAYS. Please have a plan for pickup. Soccer teams will have a brief parent meeting at pickup (5pm). We still need girls for Field Hockey.

We are prepared to have a field hockey team here at CMS! We still need some more girls to participate! If your child is interested please have them sign up at the office and bring home the paperwork.

Coming home with students today are several important forms. Although breakfast and lunch are free for all students this year, the District still needs you to complete the meal application. This information is used for SEVERAL grants and state funding. Please, please, please complete this form even if you think you wouldn’t qualify for benefits. Thank you!

Open House tonight 5:30-7, masks for students & family required. Friday, the 27th there will be an Open Field for soccer boys and girls after school until 4:30. Tryouts will be Monday after school. Make sure all health paperwork is turned in to the office!

We need an Athletic Director at CMS. It is an extremely important position - our athletic program depends on this position. Application available on our district website.

Students can find out who their HOMEROOM teacher will be by attending Open House (Aug 25, 5:30-7). Full class schedules will be given out on the first day of school (Aug 26).

Fall Sports SIGN UPS will be available at Open House (and at school on the 26 & 27th). Golfers will need their own clubs. Keep your eyes open for yard sales!
