Announcements 9/24/2021 Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country team on their outstanding performance in their home meet yesterday. The boys won their meet beating Dover, Dexter and All Saints- Boys receiving awards were ; Sebastian L, Aidan W, Jayden R, Connor L, and Zac R was our top runner placing third overall. The girls were second overall beating Dover and Dexter. Girls receiving awards were: Julie P, Addyson T, Desirae P, Lexie C and our top girl was Katelyn L who placed fourth overall. Best of luck to the B girls in their home game today! Best of luck to the field hockey team in their away game today at Stearns! There is no A Boys practice today. There is no B Boys practice today. A Girls, A Boys, B Girls, B Boys and Field hockey will practice until 4:30 today. There is NO GOLF Practice today. One act play rehearsals will practice from 3-430 today. Academic assistance will be held after school, sign ups are at the office window. All student council applications and posters are due to Ms McCarthy or Mrs. Lewis by 2:25 on Thursday, we will hold our elections on Friday during RTI. Good Morning! We have been notified of two positive pools at CCES and are in the process of completing secondary tests now. We will be in touch with parents of impacted students. There are no positive pools at CMS or CHS.

Good Morning! This morning at approximately 6:50am we discovered low water pressure at CCES. Within the last hour, the booster pumps have been restored and are back online and there is water flowing throughout the building. We will continue to monitor the system and keep you informed of any changes that would impact the rest of our day. Thank you!

Today starts the new allied arts rotation. Students, please be aware the consequences of intentional school vandalism is a suspension. No exceptions. We have recovered water at CCES and will be having school on Monday. This is a great reminder to parents to have an emergency plan in place for your kids in the event we ever have to dismiss early. Early dismissals aren’t just for snow events!

Our first school dance of the year will be FRIDAY, SEPT 24, 6-8pm. Admission is $3 per student. Only CMS students are eligible to attend - no guests. Any students with 3 or more referrals are not eligible to attend the dance. School dress code is in effect for all dances. Cell phones should not be used until after 7:30 to arrange for rides. The front traffic circle is very busy at pick-up time. Students will be asked to wait at the main entrance until their ride pulls forward. Please be patient for the safety of all students.

We are experiencing a water issue at CCES. Students and staff have access to bottled water for drinking and we are managing the toilet facilities flushing when we have recovered enough water to do so. We have plenty of hand sanitizer available. We plan to dismiss at our regular time and will work to have the issue resolved in time for school to resume on Monday.

Boys receiving awards were ; Adain W, Sebastian La, Jayden R, Connor L, and placing in the top ten was Zac R. A Boys will practice after school. B Boys will practice after school. No Girls soccer practice today. Field hockey will practice after school. Cross country will practice after school.

We have received notification of one additional positive pool at CCES from our pool testing on Tuesday. However, secondary tests did not reveal a positive individual. We will continue to test this pool until we find the positive or our testing schedule catches up to next Tuesday. All parents of the students in this pool have been notified.

All of the pool testing results are back from Central High School. With 129 students and staff being tested, only one positive pool was identified. This positive case was already reported to the public earlier today.

Any student who is interested in helping with the yearbook should check their school email and fill out the google form Mrs. Bickerstaff sent out.

Good Morning! We are all anxious to receive the results of the pool testing round completed yesterday. We have not yet received our results but will communicate with you once we do. With more schools participating and labs overrun with testing we may not get our results until tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.
