We will be honoring the seniors for Indoor Track during halftime this Wednesday. Senior Track parents will not have to pay to get into the game.

Good Luck to the CHS Cheering team at Regionals on Saturday. They will go on the floor to perform at 1:12 PM. Regionals will be held at Cony High School. Bus leaves at 9:30 AM.

So enjoyed the District V music festival yeaterday. Very proud of our students who participated. Thanks to Ms. Bacon for getting them ready! The music was amazing.

Todays Boys Basketball games vs. Lee Academy are postponed. Games will be made up on Monday 2/5. 5:00/6:30 game times.

Because of the impending weather, tonight's Girls Basketball games at Dexter have moved up. 4:00pm JV @ Dexter 5:30pm Varsity @ Dexter

Penquis JV Girls Basketball only has 4 girls to play tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience but the game tonight at Penquis has been cancelled.

We will be moving the Boys basketball games for today to tomorrow at 5/6:30 vs. F.A.      We are also cancelling the Indoor Track Practice at UMO for this evening. Drive Safe

Game Change: The Boys Basketball team will be going to F.A. on Thursday 2/1 and not 2/3. The game will start at 5:30/7:00. Bus 4:15 PM.

There has been a change do to an issue at UMO for Monday. The Track meet will now start at 11:30 AM. Bus at 10:30 AM.

CCES Power Update: The power has been restored. Have a great night, everyone.

CCES Power Update: We've been told by Versant that power should be restored within 1-2 hours of the time of the outage as they work to repair a damaged pole. The school is operating on the generator and we will not be dismissing early.

We have lost power at CCES. Versant is unsure of the cause but is evaluating. There are 1700 customers impacted. The school is currently running on the generator. No plans to dismiss early at this point but we will continue to assess next steps as we move through the afternoon.

The cheering comp at Ellsworth for Saturday 1/13 has been moved to Monday 1/15, 10:00 AM start time with the Bus leaving at 8:00 AM.

The girls basketball games vs. Hermon for yesterday will be made up on February 1st at 5/6:30 PM.

There are NO games today vs. Hermon at CHS. We are still working on a new makeup date.

Although snow totals were less than predicted overnight, we are concerned about the timing of the change over to rain this morning and what it will do to the dirt roads in the district, making them very slippery for the morning commute. Also, thankfully, we did not yet get the power outages as were predicted however, the National Weather Service is indicating wind gusts will continue throughout the morning and the potential for power outages still exist. Therefore, there is no school in RSU 64 today, Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Please stay safe.

We have added two more JV girls basketball games to the season.   The Penquis JV girls will be coming to Central on Thursday January 11th for a 3:30 PM game.     The JV girls Central basketball team will play @ Penquis on Tuesday 1/23, 6:00 PM game with a 4:30 PM bus time.   

At this time, all three schools in RSU 64 have power. We are planning to have school tomorrow. See you soon!
