I want to introduce and Welcome our new Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at CHS. We are very excited to have Coach Quinson Lancaster and his family join the athletic staff.

We are moving the Softball and Baseball games at Dexter for tomorrow 5/27 to Monday 5/30 because of incoming weather. The game will start at 4:30 pm and the bus will leave at 2:30 PM. Enjoy your Memorial Weekend.

Congratulations to the Envirothon teams for a successful competition. Koby Bean, Maci Hazlett, Emily Mitchell, Grace Thompson, and Anarose Yvon will be competing at States next week. Please wish them good luck.

Today's track meet has been moved due to weather. The Meet will be @ F.A. on Monday 5/23 with a 2:30 pm start time. Bus will leave at 1:15 pm.

The school district with the most tests completed can with up to 1500 dollars in cash prizes to be used on technology equipment. We had to pick a school to run the contest under, so we chose CMS because of their long standing relationship with MLTI. On Wednesday, May 11th, students of Central High School will be running a Carnival of Hope for our elementary students at CCES from 6-7:30pm. Please bring your child out for an evening of fun. All donations will be given to the Maine children's cancer program.

May 1 is National College Decision Day. For many colleges and universities, it's the deadline for first-year applicants to make a commitment. CHS would like to celebrate our seniors' post-secondary plans. Seniors, whether your educational journey takes you onto college, the military or into the workforce, we congratulate you on your achievements. Help us celebrate you. Stop by the Guidance Office starting May 2 to fill out a pennant to be posted on our Post-Secondary Plans bulletin board. Here's to your success!

Today's JV Baseball and Softball games vs. Orono are postponed till June 1st. There will be a 4:30 start time.

Due to the forecasted temperatures and forecast the track meet scheduled for Thursday, 4/28 has been postponed to Saturday, 4/30 with a 12:30 start. The bus will leave at 10:00 am.
