It's that time of the year again with wet fields. The baseball game at Old Town High School on Saturday will be moved. They will now be playing Old Town at UMO under the lights at 8:00 PM that day. The bus will be leaving the school at 6:30 PM after taking BP inside. Softball has not changed.

Key Club Success! Our Key Club just traveled to the New England District Key Club Convention this weekend. Our club received awards for 2nd in per member fundraising and 3rd in overall fundraising. This is an amazing accomplishment considering how many New England schools (150 or so) were represented from 6 states and Bermuda! Ethan W was also given the honor of Key Club President of the Year. Congratulations to these amazing young people and thans the Mrs. Jenkins-Suggs for providing great mentorship to them!

Congratulations to Maci H for being our school's honoree at the annual MPA Principal's Award banquet. Maci has exhibited high levels of scholarship, leadership, and citizenship over the course of her career and is very deserving of this honor. She was also one of the students chosen to receive the Richard A. Durost Scholarship.

Hello parents. Our course registration is now available online. Many of your students have already chosen their classes for next year. I would encourage you to have a conversation with them about this to assure they have chosen a solid academic and technical curriculum to match with their goals and interests. We welcome any questions you might have. Your students have access to our course selection guide in their Google Drive and they also received an email with a pdf that explains the procedure for registering via Infinite Campus. It is a very simple process, but I recognize that it is new and so please, agian, send us an email with any questions you might have.

Congratulations to our drama team for taking first runner up in the Class B state festival! Laynee and Kaleb were all festival cast and we had several special commendations across cast and crew. Thanks also to Mrs Goodwin for all her hard work to get this crew to excellence!

Coach Russell's special gift for a great year - he has surpassed 400 wins, was inducted into the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame, and has been coaching 38 years, 18 at CHS! CONGRATS Coach Russell.

Congratulations to our drama team cast and crew for winning the regional 1 Act competition! Awesome job everyone. Special congrats to our award winners: Laynee Cohen was named to all festival cast and shudders Brye Clark, Lily Ainsworth, Kadence Dow, Sadie Nutter, Landon Jackson and Ryan St. Peter got a judges commendation! States will be in two weeks.

Saturday, at Brewer Community School, our Drama Team will compete in the regional drama festival. They will be presenting "Shuddersome: Tales of Poe". They presented the show at school last Tuesday and it was great! Their show will be at 2:00 in the afternoon.
