Congratulations to Mrs. Carol Quimby for being selected as our Teacher of the Quarter for Q1. Mrs. Quimby is a beloved teacher by her students who has a "joyous disposition" and a "contagious smile" according to her students. She goes above and beyond to help students and engenders a love for learning in her students.

Students and staff, please bring water bottles to use to obtain water from the new water coolers. This will help minimize waste from the use of disposable cups. Also, try to come to school with your water bottles full to minimize our overall consumption. Thanks very much and have a great weekend.

Here come's the drama club with "The Search for Delicious" - this is the cast! Bring the family out for a great night of entertainment. Thursday and Friday Night at 6 pm.

Hey everyone, get ready to be amazed! The CHS Drama Club is putting on "The Search for Delicious". Come out and support our drama club. My first play and I hear they are amazing! And what a deal! $3 for adults and $2 for children. From the producer's description: "In this magical adaptation of Natalie Babbitt’s classic tale, a troupe of actors recreate a mythical medieval kingdom in the midst of a fierce disagreement over the most “delicious” food. To avoid a civil war, the kingdom sends 12-year-old Gaylen (and his loyal horse, Marrow) on a journey to settle the definition once and for all. On their quest, Gaylen and Marrow must face the evil Hemlock who wants to overthrow the King and Queen, seek the help of enchanted characters (a mermaid, dwarfs, and the 900-year-old woldweller), and calm the increasingly scared villagers of the kingdom. Defining a word has never had higher stakes. Music, comedy, and a look at human foolishness come together in a joyous conclusion."

The Boys Soccer team will be traveling to Sumner on Saturday October 22nd for the first round of the playoffs. Game will start at 1:00 PM. Bus will leave at 10:45 AM.

Central Girls Soccer will be Hosting Fort Kent in the first round of Playoffs. Come support the girls on Tuesday October 25th at 3:00 PM.

Fifth Annual Trunk or Treat this Saturday (October 22nd) 1:30-3:00 at CCES. Admission is $5/child. This event is a fundraiser for the Class of 2026 and NHS.

This Saturday we will be carving pumpkins at Central Hall Commons from 10AM - 12PM having cider and donuts and generally enjoying the beauty of Fall in Maine.
